What a racket! What ever happened to double tithe? When I was approached in 1996, the deal was 20% of my gross income for teachings and access to the shelters. Ridiculous.
20%?! That is down right ballsy. I never knew god was so... greed. Have to say, we could never afford 20% for salvation. maybe 2%?
